Taylor and Jon’s wedding was one of the many impacted by Covid last year. They originally had envisioned a larger wedding but with new restrictions in place, they had to adjust their plans. Despite all the changes, Taylor and Jon’s Walloon Lake Hotel wedding was still the most beautiful, memorable day.

With the change in schedule, I was able to be there for the entire day and it was a completely stress-free experience for everyone. Taylor had plenty of time to enjoy the getting ready moments with her close family and bridesmaids, looking through photos and sharing memories. Jon and the guys had their own getting ready fun, toasting with some cocktails to get the day started! Afterwards, Taylor and Jon shared a first look and exchanged hand-written letters. I could tell early on what a sweet and special celebration this day would be for them.

On a chilly September day with their closest family and friends, Taylor and Jon exchanged vows during a picturesque ceremony right on the water. After their ceremony, Taylor and Jon made it official by signing their marriage license together!

We took some family photos and then it was reception time. Their outdoor tented reception was decked out with beautiful fall florals, candle-lit centerpieces, and string lights. They even had cozy blankets for when it got cold! Later into the reception, the sun started to set across the lake and of course we had to grab some golden hour shots. They ended up being some of my favorites from the day.

Taylor and Jon’s wedding was one full of love, joy and happy tears! With the smaller guest list, I found myself noticing so many more cute moments shared between guests. This sweet couple’s intimate lakeside wedding was the highlight of 2020.
