Greencrest Manor Wedding in Battle Creek, MI

Three words come to mind when I think back to Summer and Sam’s wedding day: fun, classic, and romantic.

Summer and Sam celebrated their mid-September wedding surrounded by all of their favorite people at a one-of-a-kind kind venue, the Greencrest Manor. Guests at this stunning venue would think they were attending a destination wedding at a European estate when really, they never travelled out of West Michigan! Every room and gathering space is unique yet well coordinated which makes for the most peaceful and aesthetic atmosphere.

Greencrest Manor was the backdrop for all of Summer and Sam’s festivities. The ladies started their morning with hair and makeup in the She Shed. Sweet moments were shared amidst curling irons and final make-up touches. Across the estate, the morning looked a little different for the guys. During their preparation for the big day, they enjoyed drinks, played a few yard games, and shared lots of laughs and jokes.

As morning rolled into afternoon, first looks were shared between Summer and her bridesmaids and then with her dad. At the ceremony on the back lawn, the bride and groom shared their first look as Summer made her way down the aisle. Like the rest of the day, the ceremony was filled with many personal touches unique to Summer and Sam!

Every nook and cranny of Greencrest Manor is breathtaking which made for the most dreamy portrait photos. A few of my favorite spots for photos include the front of the ivy covered manor, the flower gardens, and the elegant green staircase. I don’t think there is any venue in Michigan that is as breathtaking as the Greencrest Manor!

The reception took place in the Celebration House. All the details and planning came together to create the most amazing celebration – it was obvious everyone enjoyed themselves. Likewise, I am so thankful I was invited to be a part of Summer and Sam’s special day!
